Bee-utiful Blog Hop Day 1

Beautiful Summer Blog Hopping for the next two days!  It's hard to imagine that for Ohioans the summer is almost over.. School starts in less then a month then it is Halloween, Thanksgiving, and then the big one... Christmas... But since it is still summer here I thought I would celebrate with all the lovely ladies who have put a lot of time and creativity into what they think Summer is. You should have come here by way of Patti if not then please start at the beginning with Lisa... You don't want to miss all of the gorgeous creations these ladies have done.

Here is my project for Day one of the hop... To me... Summer is Butterflies, Flowers, Gardening, and the scampering of little critters from tree to tree.  Hope you enjoy.

Words to live by!

This is a project I created using The Ladies Diary Collection by Graphic 45.  I am the type of person who tends to worry way too much and have bouts of poor confidence and self esteem.  The stamps were just what I needed for this project.

Christmas in July!

So time to get off my bum and start getting creative.  Vacation is over at midnight so I need to do something.  How about a first draft of my Christmas cards for 2013.  What better way to do that but join a blog hop.

Vacation Once More

It's been a few months, but vacation is once more upon me.. This time I have no special guests coming into town, but I did promise a very special person that weather permitting we would spend as many days and hours as possible in the pool at our complex.  So today.. Weather permitted such an adventure.  Dean and I found the pool, and then Allie and I headed out to explore the waters. There are three different tiers to the pool.. We have a kiddie Pool, an adult pool, and a whirlpool.  I spent most of my time floating around in the whirlpool or relaxing in a chair reading Game of Thrones.. I managed to somehow bleach some of my hair to blond... Not sure how that occurred and managed a nice layer of sun burn.... Hopefully instead of peeling this will turn into the start of a nice summer tan that I hope will last through most of the dreary winter here.  I have joined a few upcoming blog hops and I am hoping to get a few projects done this week as well.  Well off to accomplish something else... Have a wonderful day!

Sometimes....

Found the quote one day while looking for something for another project and didn't know what to use it on until I found an awesome challenge at Totally Tilda's Challenge Blog.  The challenge to create something using a Princess Tilda and have pink as the dominant colour.  Since I love anything done in pink I had fun making this card.
