First cards.

I am just amazed at the beauty of the Spectrum Noir markers.  I have purchased the light and pastel 24 pack sets and I currently have 8 of the 12 6 pack sets.  There are 2 more 6 pack sets en route to my home and will be here later next week.  So I have taken the 96 colours that I have and begun to create... The following cards are the end results of my careful colouring...

Thank you for stopping by.

Taking my card making a step further...

I have been eyeing the Copic brand markers for card making for over a year.  I have about 6 of them but at 6.00 each the collection is out of my price range, and for a newbie in stamp colouring with markers I didn't see a reason to spend the money.  Well I have seen the Specteum Noir 6 pack sets at my local Pat Catans for about 10.00 a pack.  There are 168 total colours and the sets of 6 basic colours is all one really needs to get started.  Well today I bought 8 sets and brought them home to play with... WOW!! I love love love colouring with them.  Mind you now I am nowhere near being good, but they make it easy to colour with and actually make me somewhat look good.  So tonight after sorting, cataloging, etc I sat down at my craft table and started to play.  Let me tell you... They are a joy to work with and even my attempts look rather good.
This was my first real attempt after I practiced hair colouring shades etc.
This was my second attempt.  The colours are just gorgeous.  Tomorrow I am going to get a couple of the 24 ok sets that they have to fill in some of the colour shade gaps.

Christmas Cards 2013

I've been so far behind on my cards.  Lacking the creative magic I normally have this time of year does not help.  I did manage to get two cards creates today. That gives me a total of 4 done I think.

Ho Ho Ho!

Just a few Christmas cards that I have finished so far. I am a bit behind as I have had a lot on my plate and really not enough creative spark either.

Get Well

A close friend of the family was hit by a car Tuesday night while riding home on his bike.  He is just 16 and fighting for his life.  Made this card to take to the family to stick in his hospital room.

Harvesting Memories Blog Hop

Falling leaves, pumpkins, warm apple cider... These are a few of my favorite things about Fall.  Every year I spend the days looking forward to this most wonderful time of the year.  I'm a fall girl by birth as well as by heart.  I can't imagine a season more beautiful as the one Mother Nature covers in golds and reds... So join a wonderful bunch of ladies on their interpretations of what embodies Fall to them.   If you came here by way of Connie's House then you are headed down the right country lane. If not please start at Lisa's House for a cup of cider and her amazing project.  When you have had your fill of warm pumpkin pie and hot cocoa please head on down the leaf covered lane to Deb's House.  Thank you for stopping by!

My project for this hop is a decorative tag.  The materials are a modge podge of scraps and pieces and loose embellishments that I had laying about my craft area.
